Warm Roofs

The popular Warm Roof, is exactly as the name suggests it to be,  an energy efficient roof option for your conservatory that has excellent insulation built into the the roof system.  The beautiful slate finish makes it stylishly attractive and a range of colours available in the tiles means that it can match your external decor perfectly. This roof will ensure that your conservatory remains cool in the warmer summer months and will be cosy and warm in the winter months, providing a space that is ideal all year round.

We believe that the tile/slate finish to the Warm Roof makes a much greater visual impression when compared to a traditional polycarbonate or glass conservatory roof.  The insulation has to be seen to be fully appreciated.  Beneath a layer of light weight tile there is a waterproof membrane which covers a layer of plywood.  Beneath this plywood there are 2 layers of insulation (one external and one internal).

The innermost layer is actually insulated plasterboard which is finished with a plaster skim coat meaning that you have a much neater finish to the interior when compared to a traditional conservatory roof.  In addition, it is possible, to have downward facing lighting installed. The main advantage of the warm roof is that it renders the room usable all year round as it reduces the heat of the summer and the cold of the winter.

The beautiful light weight tile makes sure that heat loss is eliminated during winter months and will keep your conservatory warm. This has the added bonus of significantly lower energy bills. The waterproof membrane makes sure that you will be dry in the heaviest of downpours and the insulation means that outside noise will be reduced from rain and sleet.  A Warm Roof will turn your conservatory into a comfortable extension of your home.
